At the present time PTS Labs International, Inc. (PTS Labs) provides global core analysis studies to the domestic and international energy sectors. PTS GeoLabs, Inc. provides core analysis and geotechnical services to the environmental industry. Both divisions are actively developing laboratory services well beyond their primary base of operations. This component of PTS Laboratories, Inc. generates many new clients around the world and allows the company to provide its expertise to other countries.
Historically, PTS Labs has specialized in soft sediment core evaluation. The company has developed many well-documented handling techniques, laboratory protocols, and industry standards that have helped industry scientists with their formation evaluation. In the past ten years there has been an increasing amount of focus on tight-gas sand analysis. We have given these analytical procedures a great deal of priority by adding additional equipment and upgrading laboratory expertise. We feel that the safety of our employees, clients, and associated contractors is an extremely important component in the fulfillment of the goals of this company. So that we can provide safety assurance to our clients, each staff member undergoes job safety analysis (JSA) prior to leaving the laboratory for all offsite job assignments.
