Routine Core Analysis

Virtual Layout Room

Our virtual layout room serves as your portal to your core.  As the core is processed data and imagery are continuously uploaded to the layout room.  This allows you to track the progress of core processing and allows you to access X-ray imagery (either CT or Fluoroscope) before slabbing and core imaging begins.

Once TEN-EX™ core imaging begins, our virtual layout room enables you to quickly inspect the core for damage like mud invasion or fracturing and, through the use of the TEN-EX viewer, begin your core description while the rest of the core is still being slabbed.

The following animated tour will demonstrate the various tools available to you for analyzing and documenting the core. You will be able to use the grain size comparator, take bed measurements and even take notes while you examine your core on- line.

Enhanced Imagery Suite

Digital Imagery provides an easily accessible visual record of your core, core plugs, well cuttings and thin sections. Our imagery is superior in that all of it is digitized at either microscopic or near-microscopic resolution. It provides not only an easily accessible visual record of the sample, it also serves as a rich source of petrologic and petrophysical data.
