HD Plugs™ imagery is designed to enhance our ability to analyze sidewall cores and core plugs.  Sidewall cores and core plugs are routinely photographed.  Our digital imagery is a cut above standard photography.  When imaged at 40 – 80x magnification it is possible to resolve microfossils, porosity exposed at the surface of the plug, and grain size at a resolution of 2.5 microns.  The imagery is delivered in digital format along with our HD Microscope, a virtual microscope on your desktop.

HD Microscope was designed specifically for the analysis of well cuttings, sidewall cores, and core plugs.  You can view the entire sample, or zoom in to microscopic resolution without having to change lenses, re-focus, and the find the thing you wanted to look at….all from your desktop.  HD Microscope contains all of the tools necessary to measure sizes, shapes, compositions quantitatively.
